TASUED MOURNS PIONEER PRO-CHANCELLOR

The Pioneer Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijagun, Ogun State, Prof. Olatunji Yinusa Oyeneye is dead.

Prof. Oyeneye, who died at the early hours of Wednesday, 2nd December, 2015, had since been buried according to Islamic injunctions. He was 68 years old.

In a condolence letter signed by the Registrar of the University, Dr. ‘Femi Kayode, late Prof. Oyeneye was described as a humanist, brilliant administrator and team player par excellence. “Prof. Oyeneye, no doubt, has left his footprints on the sands of time. His achievements in University governance as an erudite scholar and manager of resources remain unparalleled. He radiated love, kindness, peace among the subordinates and super-ordinates. His lifetime signified simplicity, hardwork and determination. He touched lives and enjoyed helping others to succeed”. He added.

May his soul rest in peace.
