FALOYE AYO said, the youth in Nigeria must wakeup from the slumming, youth should not be forced to come for this kind program.
There is no politician who does not depend on the strength and energy of the youth but they use it in negative way. Youth are been used for illegal purpose which will be stopped for the growth of Nigeria. You pay for the service and you beg the service, which is the nature of Nigeria politician.

Sen. Adegbenga Sefiu Kaka, said lots of sanity in politics and he made his apologies to the youth for wastage done by the elders in Nigeria. He made mention how life so splendid in olden days and present and future, he said there should be strategic focus in other to cover all opportunities around you. “Value System” was the major problem and lots of immorality, infrastructural, communications facing the society today. Where are we going? Whether 80 percent or 30 percent but it is difficult to see the youth demanding for 30 percent and engaging them self productively.
He said, someone needs not to depend on pastors or any human for any problem or challenging and he/she need to take up responsibility of his/her life. The moment you sanitize yourself and take-up responsibility that is when the 30 percent or more can be given to you “Be a Volunteer”.
Average age for the politician confirm was 70yrs which was not to be so, they are taken up what rightfully belong to the youth between 30-45 because the youth are not taking responsibility.
“Responsibility”, youth are not ready to take-up responsibility, he said any of the pyramidal ladders you can extract influence, the moment vice ready to take up responsibility then you are a youth of great vision. Taking up responsibility will not kill you and proverb said “Ise Kin Pa Yan, Ise Ni Pa Yan” meaning work does not kill but wretched kills. Youth have to show the willingness, capability and readiness before the elders so that they can surrender the authority to the youths. He quote “Age is not a beerier, it’s all about your linnet”.
Are you ready to take up responsibility? Nigeria is very religious but they are not worshipping. He said for the past 26yrs be as been in and out of politics. Youths has to make theirself useful and relevant but not negatively.
Hon. Abdul Balogun botress and said there is nothing we can do without economic power. Orientation of been a graduate and work in the bank should stop. When you do something with your hand, then you can obtain economic power.
Mr. Sina Kawonise also said why are the youth becoming marginalized in the political ambition, “if you don’t read, you can read” once you develop yourself people will look for you. He said if you’re leaded you will be needed.
Mr. Daniel Akinlami said the step to change is in the hand of the youth. If there is no discipline you can lead.
During the interactive section, Olufemi Ajayi, a Political Science student of Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) in Ago-Iwoye decried the hypocrisy of the elders, saying: “They always claim to follow the steps of Chief Obafemi Awolowo and his principle. But, you cannot hold them by their words. They simply have no ideological stand.”
Tolulope Oyekanmi, 100-Level Early Childhood Education student of Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) in Ijagun, said she was ready to volunteer herself and engage the youth in the state on the need to rise up to be part of governance.
Also at the event were Mr Musibau Ajibola, Mr Daniel Akinlani, Chief Morin Kilo, Yinka Quadri, a Development Consultant, and Dr Lawrence Holumidey, the proprietor of Paragon International School, Abeokuta.
Ayobami Faloye, a youth activist at the event, said he was not moved by speeches of the speakers. He said: “We hear such speeches on this kind of platform. They will come and tell us what we need to do, although they are not willing to concede power to us. The older generation has cheated us and we are ready to take over. The elders won’t leave until we force them out.”
