The Students Representative Council of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic under the leadership of Honourable Durodola Folorunshayo has said the interest of Mapaites is the major priority of the house, adding that they are planning to rebrand the students’ representative body.
This was made known during the SRC courtesy visit to the Ogun State House of Assembly on Tuesday, at Oke-Imosan, Abeokuta.
The speaker added that the council will bring back the good image of MAPOLY, claiming they have set targeted goals in accordance with other students toward creating a new and decent MAPOLY in the community.
The student speaker said, “We noticed that after the black week demonstration, people do not know the present state of MAPOLY.
“Hence, we have decided to pay a courtesy visit to the Ogun State House of Assembly so they can know MAPOLY students are well behaved anywhere we go.
However, Durodola reiterated the mutual relationship between the SRC and SU executives, saying they both have good plans for Mapaites, and they would give students better governance.
He said, “We SRC and SUG members have Mapaites in mind, we didn’t forget them as we promise to, and very soon you shall hear from us.
“We are working tirelessly to ensure everything is put in place before we sign the budget presented by the union executive.”
