LAUTECH Students Say No To Increment Of Tuition Fees

The Students’ Union has responded to the news that the management of LAUTECH proposes to increase the tuition fees.

In a bid to calm the rising tensions among students, the SUG said in a statement that it is “not aware of the notification and the resolution of the meeting with the governing council,” claiming it is “rumour.”

They added that “necessary consultation is going on with the union body and appropriate action will be taken.”

However, separately, the SUG president Laurel shared the following on his social media: “No to increment of tuition fees,” “#fundLAUTECH,” and “LAUTECH students say no to tuition fee increment.”

His statement indicates that the union is, in fact, aware of the resolution made the governing council.
