Ladoke Akintola University of Technology LAUTECH, Ogbomosho communities are in shock as troubles loom from the operatives of Nigeria Police Force, Ogbomoso Axis.
There have been lots of incessant robbery at students area of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho which made the student union government led by Abiodun Oluwaseun Laurel (President) and his excos to take it upon themselves to go around the student areas as a means of eradicating such act and to dim it down for such occasions to occur again after the written letter sent to the Owode Division HQ Ogbomosho, Oyo state for support against the robbery acts went unanswered.
However, there have been lots of reports taken to the Students Union Building and Students Affairs Units by different students about the incessant robbery and sexual assaults that was going around the school area.
This made the student union president and his executives present “Operation Crocodile Dance” which is in form to apprehend those in the acts of troubling and robbing the students and to bring their faces to the public by facing the law.
This operation has been ongoing for days which is accepted by the students as there are no means for those behind this acts to operate but as at 1-3am on Friday 26, July 2018 at UnderG school area while the operation “Crocodile Dance” was ongoing at the checkpoints at Facebook Junction Underg Area, a Sienna space bus was seen coming from stadium area and was been signaled to slow down at the checkpoint but reverse is the case as the bus pulled to reverse the bus and came back with armed men (SARS).
20 bullets were fired at the student’s representatives at the checkpoints from the men of Nigeria Police Force, SARS (ogbomosho axis) which made the student representatives ran away while they captured one of the student Union representatives at the checkpoint was molested and taken away by the armed men.
However, the student Union Bus was damaged and taken away by the Owode Division Headquarters Police Officers with the deflated tyres of the bus at 3 am.
The Dean Students Affairs, Dr Adewale Sunday went to the Owode Station to settle the case and the dean and the comrades present were told to come back by daylight.
