Kwara State University inaugurates library named after Buhari

The Kwara State University has inaugurated a newly built university after President Muhammadu Buhari.

Named the Muhammadu Buhari Main Library, the building is sited at the KWASU campus in Ilorin, Kwara State.

According to the President’s Personal Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, via his verified Twitter handle @BashirAhmaad on Sunday, the Federal Government project was sponsored through the TETFUND Scheme.

The Tertiary Education Trust Fund Act had repealed the Education Tax Act Cap. E4, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004 and Education Tax Fund Act No. 17, 2003.

It establishes the Tertiary Education Trust Fund charged with the responsibility for imposing, managing and disbursing the tax to public tertiary institutions in Nigeria.
