ADENIJI ADEDAMOLA TO REPRESENT NIGERIA AT THE WORLD UNIVERSITY GAMES

Adeniji BOLT Adedamola, is one of the 30 students selected nationwide by the Nigerian University Games Association to represent Nigeria at the World University Games in Gwangju City, South Korea.

Adeniji Adedamola is a 200 level student of the Department of Human Kinetics and Health Education. He is undisputedly the fastest man in the University of Lagos.

He has won various medals for himself, the University and Nigeria at the 2013 African Junior Championship in Mauritius.

The 28th Summer World University Games started with an opening ceremony on Friday July 3 at the Universiade Park, Main stadium. The two week long games will see over 8000 athletes take part in the biennial event. Athletes will compete for 272 gold medals in 21 sports events.
